Default some blaster issues

Im seriously irritated with my blaster. If i wasnt so little, Id probably go buy something else. Besides my back brakes working whenever they feel like it (no news there), im having some idling problems. When I bought it a year ago it ran fine... untill recently when I had to put new charge and pulse coils in it. Now my idle is all screwed up... cuz the idiot before me tore my TORS system and completely gutted it. Basically if i want it to idle I have to use the throttle cable. and we all know what happens there... it either revs when you turn to the left.. or stalls when you turn to the right. Now the question is... what would be easier? getting all the pieces that go to the tors system on the carb... or getting the idle kit that goes on the carb? If so.. which one to get? Ive seen so many different ones. Thankx!

IMO, go woth the idle kit. It sucks when you have to deal with that whole TORS system. It gets in the way alot. Have you considered just buying a whole new carb? Its worth it.

Never considered buying a whole new carb. my dad took it and cleaned it at work one day.. all kinds of metal and stuff came out. Never a very good thing! Is it worth it to buy a whole new one? What would you recommend? Im basically just tired of messing with it. I ride it all week and then when i get to saturday... something goes wrong and i have to spend all week end in the garage while my boyfriend is out riding. Got alot of work time into it and there comes a time where i JUST WANNA RIDE!

Interesting enough, as I was lookin around at different carbs, my dad modified my TORS system to now work today. I have no idea what this means to me as far as it not breaking later anyway or whether it is going to fix the problem. Its great to have a mechanic in your house when you need them! I cant wait to get home and see what he came up with!
