Just put a new 2000 warn winch on the Kodiak. It looks killer and is tucked away and well protected. The front end was made with a winch in mind. I put the cylinoid (spelling??), under the seat in the dry box mounted on the side. A buddy of mine who is a manager of a Polaris dealership already wants to trade his 00 SP 500. He's had some problems and it wants to quit on him. It did it on me once but started back up. He's afraid it will do it on a hill. He is very displeased with the SP and he's owned every make. He wants a Kodiak or a Honda product. That SP is a hell of a mudder though. I'm hang'in tight w/the Kodiak,...

JHAM, You may want to edit your spelling of a WINCH before you get a 1/2 dozen replies concerning it. A Kodiac wench would be an Alaskan female of questionable character.

OOps, my bad. Since we're becoming spell checkers, Kodiak is spelled with a K. I liked the definition though!
