make sure you let us know the outcome and if he has a problem with you
doing that tell him to log on for a while well change his mind
chicks riding in the group is cool whether he thinks so or not.

 

My wife wants to go REAL bad!!!! I would love for her to go, but I am trying to find her a ride! This thread has sparked alot of comments...This forum is also a great place to find people in your riding area to go with...Once your ol' man sees you goin on your own he'll probably want to go with you then you can tell him NO...lol. My wife and her friends go 4 times a year on what they call B!tch Ride 2002 or 2003 or 2004. They even have thier own T-shirts for that year.There are no guys allowed and they are gone all day.My wife says they are some of the best times they have together. Well.....there could be a few reasons why he doesn't want to you go......could be he really is worried about you, and he feels responsible for your well-being the whole time you guys are out.....like taking care of a child, sort of. It's fun, but it's alot of work, and you can't really enjoy yourself as much as if you were just out to ride....(not in ANY way saying you are a child!).......could be his friends don't want him to bring you because they feel they have to go "slower".....and again, even if you were just as fast as them, there are alot of guys who would still make this argument......those are the two reasons I hear most men talk about when they don't bring their women. I am always the girl that rides with the guys....so I hear their comments alot.....

I was with someone who never wanted to be with me.....didn't want to take me with him....when we bought our quads, I was hooked, and I actually wound up getting totally involved in the sport, and he didn't. I wound up riding with his friends....going to the track by myself.....doing everything myself. And I had fun doing it! I wound up meeting a wonderful guy who also rides - met him at one of my first races, as a matter of fact (I always raced alone)......and we have been together for over 2 years now. I can't tell you what a difference it makes in your quality of life when you are with someone who WANTS to be with you....who prefers YOUR company over ANYONE elses in the world.....who will stand up for you and tell everyone else to shove it, if they say anything bad about you.........who is there to do everything WITH you.

Your story just gives me twinges of rememberence of how I used to feel.......

Get out there and do what YOU want to do.....if he doesn't want you there with him.....give him a chance to explain - but you know it's his loss in the long run. Hopefully he will change and let you come with him and have fun with him before someone else realizes how cool you are to be with.
