Did they offer that option ? If not i hpe they do in 2005.

As far as I'm aware, the Kodiaks have always been straight axle in the rear.

ATV123 is right. Kodiak was never offered with independant suspension. My first Kodiak was a 93 when they came out. From 93-99 they had the same body style with slight changes. 00-present are pretty well the same. All use the straight axle. Hopefully 05 will bring IRS. The only Indepentent Yamaha ATV ever available is the Grizzly and Rhino

I heard from a good source they were going to offer the IRS to the new 05 Kodiak
