I have raced with Razr2's since they first came out. I got (bought) my first set before some of the factory riders got their freebies. They are the best out there for loose, soft, wet, muddy, grassy, rocky conditions. There are better tires for real hardpack conditions. They last a long time. My first set I raced and rode trails with for a year and a half and they still have probably 75% tread left. I have used them for some MX races too. They are much heavier than MX specific tire, but much more durable.
The traction, especially with the rear tires, is totally awesome. I probably only get stuck in mud holes less than half as much as with the stock tires.
There is a new tire out, but I don't know if anywhere has them in stock yet. It is the iRazr. Bill Ballance has been racing and testing it for some time now, and WINNING. It is supposed to have as good of straight line traction as the Razr2, but allow you to powerslide aroung corners a little easier if that is your thing. I think it is geared more towards the YFZ 450 and 450R, where a little more tire spin will keep them from stalling as much in the woods.
My recommendation for a great all around tire for trails and racing, especially if you will encounter muddy stuff, would be a 20x11x9 Razr2 in the rear and a 22x7x10 Razr2 in the front. That is what I am currently running for the GNCCs. Good luck with your decision.
