Default My wolverine is tired of looking at Polaris 500ho tailights

I have a new 2002 wolverine that I bought as a leftover last month, and I'm tired of looking at the tailights on my buddies Polaris 500ho. Several buddies have Polaris 500ho's that I ride with and I stay right with them in the trails, but hit a staight away and their gone. I don't want to go internal yet do to the bike being new, but what kind of bolt ons do you guys feel will turn the tables if possible? I would like them to see my tailights for a change. Thanks in advance

I highly reccomend the pipe, jets, filter, torque stuffer kit from Albaaction.com with either the alba pipe or the FMF megamax. It really woke my Wolverine up with only 300 bucks and a quick install im very happy. I cut the airbox lid for more flow but thats up to you. I have the megamax and am happy with it. Right now im getting a hotter cam and a wiseco high compression piston with new rings and clips thrown in mine but i have a lot of hours on the top end and am looking for more power than the pipe because I got a zilla and need it to feel more powerful. Just that kit from alba for 300 bucks will be like a night and day change. I also highly reccomend the warn 424 select kit for 2x4 mode it gives you more power and makes it a blast to slide around.

Thanks for the sugestion. I just got the torque stuffer in mail today, warn 424 is on order so I guess I'm on the right track. I herd other people on here talk about the alba pipe, but I can't seem to find them on computer. Any sugestions on where to locate them?

You are not on the right track adding a heavy winch! Check with www.rockymountainatv.com or www.moto-man.com .

Gary, a Warn 424 select allows the 4x4 to be disengaged so he is on the right track.

Thanks for all the replys. After I read CTATV's reply a little slower I realized he gave me the web address I needed. That will teach me not to speed read. Anyway I ordered the complete wolverine pipe kit from Alba with the alba pipe minus torque stuffer because I have one. The service guys at alba also said this should really wake the wolverine up. Hopefully I'll have some good news to post. Thanks again CTATV for the advise.
