decide about wolverine
#1
Iam most likly going to be buying a wolverine I already have 2000 500 scrambler which iam very happy with and a trail blazer. Iam not bashing on the trailblazer or anything but it just has no power so I'am going to buy a wolverine I would like to know what kind of mods to put on it. I heard the skid plates are not very good so i would like to buy the package or whatever? How much would it cost for full body coverage. And what would be the best mods to be able to atleast keep up with my scrambler. Please respond to this I need the info. Thanks in advance.

I have a Full DG Skid plate I think it cost around $150 and the differential was like $90. Then later I got the Ox-lite brush gaurds for the A-arms and they were $50. I think that this is a very wise buy for your Wolverine. For power I would put on a better filter and a new exhaust. FMF Mega Max2 is what I will be going with.

When you guys say it has a weak rear axle, have you bent them with somewhat normal riding? Or is it the guys that do the jumping where this is most common?
I too will be making my final decision on my new quad purchase. I think its coming down to either a Rubicon or the Wolverine. I just wish someone would give me a Wolverine like machine with a 450cc or larger motor, and still stay well under 500 lbs. The main reason I havn't bought one yet is because I know darn well that as soon as I do buy one, a 500cc Wolverine will come out the next day! Thats when I will be really mad. decisions, decisions.
