no... if u take it in the mud u will have serious problems. u will rev the motor to high when u get stuck and the motor will blow out causing thousands of dollars in repairs. im only j/k. i have a blaster and go through the mud all the time and nothing ever happens so u should be alright

 

i used to take my blaster in the mud all the time, it did pretty good as lonmg as i kept moving, they're pretty light so they dont sink in the mud too bad

 

Blasters are real nice to take in the mud because they are light enough to shake around and gain some traction.

 

When I had my Blaster I put some Maxxis Sur Trak's on and wow, it was a mud beast, never had a problem except when I had the stupid drum brakes. Quickly changed them to hydro, but being yours is an '04 you won't have that problem. I've been in mud up to the bottom of my seat before, its the tires that make the difference, if you have stock tires they won't do much.
