The fastest quad out

I cant believe that you idiots are arguing that a $5000 dollar rappy will run with a $5000 dollare shee. Are you guys that retarted. Do you realized that with $5000 in a shee you could very well have 90HP. With $5000 in a rappy you get what? an explosive engine with may be 70HP and a Heaver quad.

I think motox is pretty much right. If I remember correctly a 2 stroke produces 1.5 times the hp as a 4 stroke of equal size. In other words a 200cc 2 stroke has almost the same power as a 300cc 4 stroke.
Case in point:
A stock blaster and stock 300ex are pretty equally matched.
A warrior gets killed by a banshee.
A banshee and a yfz 450 are pretty close in a drag and the yfz is lighter and is on the cutting edge of 4 stroke technology while the banshee is a 20 year old design. Heck we all know that a stock banshee will stay with a stock raptor.
Granted the banshee has 2 cylinders. This gives twice the fire thus twice the explosions in a given rpm all the while using two light weight, low friction rods and pistons vs 1 bulkier rod and piston (like the warrior has). This is why a 600cc 4 cylinder has more hp than a 1000cc v twin or a 6.0 liter v12 lamborghini has twice the hp as a 6.0 liter v8 chevy.
Come on guys I know you can keep this war going.
All you 4 stroke owners better be glad that Yamaha isn't building a 500cc banshee with the latest in techonlogical advances or you could hang it up.

Yeah that would be a sick shoot uut a 770 vs a 550... I think im crying already
Now there are a few misconceptions here...4 strokes do not produce more torque than 2 strokes it is quite the opposite,do you guys really think that lets say a 500cc Polaris Predator produces more torque than a CR 500???

Umm no duh a cr would put out more hp out then a pred.. The power/ weight ratio is about as diffrent as a dog and a cat.. Think about it bud
I said do you really beleive a Predator 500 puts out more torque than a CR 500???
What does HP or power to weight ratio has to do with the amount of torque the engine is going to produce?
