i had a question kinda , but i dont have all the money right now... i wanted to get a raptor but then i saw the 450. i have drove a quad befor but i only have about1300 bucks! i have a 2002 tomoms lx moped that i am selling for about 1000. or that i will trade. what is better though? the 450 or the raptor>>>what is faster? what is faster off the start??? i am about 5ft 7.5 and weigh about 125. i am small but strong, and i have rode befor. this quad is goin to mine for a long time!!! also i need a cheap trailer. to haul the quad. does any one know where i could get a chaep one? or if any one would take the moped and 1300 cash??? i am 16, 5' 7.5" and weigh about 125. i am goin to be racing friends and do some jumping some trail riding (cleared out trails in woods) and just the normal riding around. i want somthin that is fast as hell and that will win races!

 

sounds like you are going to be about 4000 short.

 

the only way that trade would happen is if someone that had one of those quads got brain damage from smacking their head on the handle bars.

Dood If you want a fast qwad get the yfz. Im sayin this because your 5ft 7" and you way only 125 lb's. The raptors qwik to but the yfz will be better for you because of your waite. The yfz is quiker at bottem end. Reatail on a yfz is 6,900.

 

I Love my Raptor alot but if I were you, I would probably go with the new technology. You are going to be well short with either of them with the amount of money you have though. You need around 3,4 grand more.

 

Either that or you can buy one off ebay Brand new 2004 for like 3000 grand what a deal! Just wire the money over seas and wait for your new quad. Oops did I forget to mention He|| might freeze over before you get it. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

I agree... I have 3 Rappy's and I wouldn't trade em for the world, but due to your size and the fact your 16 so you probably wont have too much to invest in a rappy to make it insane, I'd get the 450 since it's fast as hell out fo the box. Maybe in a few years when you put on more weight and can afford to invest more into a quad the raptor might be good, but it takes a lot of money to really open these raptors up.

 

Yup, I think everyone seen that scam artist. Just bid like $2 million on his machine and screw him over.
