If you think you would feel more comfortable with a twist, try it. You can get a cheap one off ebay. If you like it, buy a better one. We run twists on every quad. I hate thumb throttles. Others prefer them. It just comes down to what you are comfortable with.

How often do you ride? I got a Banshee about a month ago and my thumb was sore the first few times but felt just fine after that. Then I didn't ride for a week b/c I got sick (sinus infection) and the first time I got back on it hurt again. But the next day it was fine again. Maybe you just need to "work out" your thumb a little.

Outlaw, i think you hit it on the money. I have a big hand and the way my thumb comes over the lever, im pushing on the inside of the lever instead of the outside where it would be easier. I will reposition it. Gawd, how could i have been so dense not to realize the answer . Will try this then see if it works, if not, then will go for the twist.

Thanks,
Plad

Just a little thing I have noticed. My thumb bothers me every time I do not wear a form fitting riding glove.
