ok so i adjusted the float level. i put in a 25 pilot and it still ran like crap. went down to a 155-160, still ran like crap. I turn the choke on and it runs even worse. does that mean that i need to go even more lean? i tried to get the spark plug out but the plug puller keeps bending so i am having problems with that. also the backfiring quit. i think one of the boots on the carbs was loose

so i tried another little thing. i bumped it up to 165/170, went 2 1/2,2 3/4 turns and adjusted the float level again. put her back together and she ran awesome. took her down the block and back with no sputtering at any range. hope it is fixed for good. hope its not too rich. if it was too rich would i notice any sputtering or anything besides taking the plug out and looking at it?

ItalianStalion told u how to do it....................."The best way to check your plug is to run a few miles on it first to get some color.Run the bike under a load for about a minute or so at 3/4 to full throttle then pull in the clutch, hit the kill switch but leave your throttle wide open all at the same time....coast to a stop and then check your plug."
I would run it at FULL throttle, just find a nice loooonnng straight road, street, trail and just try to get up to your max speed at Way Open Throttle (WOT) and kill it like he said.
