What do you guys think I should run on my raptor. I don't know how long of a swingarm I should put under it. Yamaha Raptor with a Yamaha 1000cc motor. Thanks.

Hello there!! Sounds like your getting close!! Glad to hear that your still on it. I probably would start out with at least a +8 or +10.

Put some pics up of what you have so far.

How much HP that thing crankin out and how much does it weigh? Those are big factors in determining swingarm length.

Correct me if I may be wrong but that motor should be cranking at least 128 rwhp stock. My 929RR that I have is pushing that. Thats going to be a nice machine when its done.

Yea its on going. I have the motor in, I still need to do some welding and I still have to make some more motor mounts. The motor should put out around 130 horse. It probably weighs 75lbs more than what the raptor motor did. It only squatted the suspension about an 1/4". I will take some pics of it tomorrow and post them up.

Man I wish I could get this 929RR into something but just went ahead and did the motor on it. I want to see some video of that monster too when you get that all tuned up.

a buddy a mine just finished his raptor project and we are yet to see how she does.....its an 01 raptor with a kawasaki 750 triple 2 stroke which came out of a street drag bike (h2) i think is what they call them. he ordered the first ever made +12 from eyeball engineering and is installed and ready to go! the motor was putting out 155hp to the rear wheel of the motorcycle on gas befor the transformation......should be interesting how she does in the sand!
