Instead of all this hassel you could have just called Outerwears directly, told them the shape and dimensions of your filter, and they will either send you one out of their stock or make one custom for you. I did it just last week for a special direct-mount filter I am using with my Edelbrock carb. Took about 5-7 days and it was in my hands.
