Can anyone with a 2001-2003 Grizz tell me about reliablity and probs with them
Ive posted before about getting rid of a 2001 Polaris Sportsman 500 HO for a used 2002 Grizz with only 150 miles. I like the extra power but want something I dont have to do much more than change the oil in. Is the Grizz the way to go? Also those with 450 Kodiaks---do they have enough power and what can they get up to---thanks----Dave

I responded to your post in the Polaris forum, but since you're enquiring about '03 models (you indicated an '02 model in the other post) it has been said that the CV joint parts came from a different source (than the '02 & '04 models) and were subject to breakage. This has not been a wide-spread problem with the other model years. Finally, the 2001 model is a different machine, it has an air cooled 600 engine (with an oil cooler) versus the liquid cooled 660 engine from '02 through '04. Also starting with the '02 model year, the Grizzly received IRS and a front differential lock (neither feature was available on the older 600 Grizzly)...
