my warrior conclusion
#1
As U guys and gals know I have lots of warrior probs.Well I think we got them all straightened out. After having the cranks trued, new head, new cam,new cam chain, new cam sprocket, new battery new rear caliper, new starter clutch and a new stator.Well We have it all back togother now and have been riding it as aften as I can.here our the conclusions I have found.
Factory yamaha replacement parts are EXPENSIVE!!!!
Our warrior is pretty reliable as of us getting it fixed.
Wheelie's aren't as easy as on our 300ex.Long wheelies are possible.I had one scare when it came straigt up and down on a hill.I touched the back brakes it that didn't help.It came back down though.
Our 300ex has a little more gittup.I think this is due to the massive 23/11/9 dunlops.
The warrior has nice egro's and fits me better than our ex.I am 5 ft 4inches.
It is still a very fun qaud to ride.
If it had different rear tires and looked a little better I would probably take it over our 300ex.
I will have my freinds take some pics of me riding it and put them on my web-site.
almost full race 250r
