Default Edelbrock Carb metering dial

Is it supposed to fit under the tank? Mine does not fit and I had to put the standard bolt back in.

Nevermind, I read that its a tight fit and it's not supposed to stay in there exept for tuning with the front plastic off.

You can buy a 1/2" spacer at the hardware store, or use a stack of washers under the rear bolt on the gas tank. Then you can leave the metering rod adjuster in there. All the plastics will still fit. That is what I have done on mine.
