After 2 long years I have finally saved enough money and bought a 97 banshee. So far I have raced one of my friends which owns a raptor and smoked him, and i raced another friend which has a 450r and beat him. (but not by as much as i beat the raptor).

thats a perfect example... a banshee with a set of toomeys and a filter, thats all you need to beet any of the new 4 strokes.

 

The 450 was stock, but the raptor had a graydon pipe, and pro design filter.

NO there not spanking piped shees. There beating piped shees that are jetted by morons. Ive beat piped shees with my stock piped banshee when I first got it. One had a head and V-Force reeds and SST's and I was faster. Was it because I was a better rider NO. It was my friends bike I later rode it and it was Slow. Some shees are just set up like $hit. Some need a new top end but the owner dosent know that so they ride around getting smoked. A properly modded and TUNED shee is hard to beat. However a detuned shee is not and I'm afraid to say most bikes aren't tuned right.
