Default Spark Arrestor

I took my spark arrestor out of my raptor the other day... is there any thing I should do to keep it from blowing up? or should I be fine? I noticed yesterday when I put it in the shed the pipe coming off the engine was red hot.. i never noticed this before but then again it was dark so I thought that might have been the reason I saw it. But it sound cooler now, i was just wondering how much damage I might be doing to my expensive toy I haven't paid a payment on yet. But its close.. about next week I have to make the first payment..

u will have to rejet it, thats why ur pipe is glowing red cause its lean and is too hot. if u dont rejet it u risk damiging ur engine. if ur not familliar with jetting then go to here http://www.yellowdogracing.com/techstuff.htm

raptors have dual carbs right? so would i have to jet them exactly the same? or is there something special about them? would i have to put new jets in or could i just adjust the ones i have to a different clip?
