How much speed increase can I expect from adding an fmf fatty and powercore2 silencer. My blaster does 64mph right now.

64? Do you weigh 100lbs?

Mine did 56, with my 180 *** on it..

You might pick up one or 2 MPH from a pipe

Or you might not gain any speed...just acceleration and response

FMFBlaster, I am curious as to how you measured the speed of your Blaster.

I mesured the speed by my dad following me to a friends house in his truck and I weigh 128lbs. I have an aftermarket air filter so that might account for some speed.

air filter won't do anything. execpt keep your motor cleaner..

and i'm sorry but that is the most inaccurate way to get speed. It never comes out right.

I did mine with a radar gun..

no mod is going to gain you any top speed except for really really hi-rev port, maybe 1-2 mph, and of course gearing. (the straitaways is you limit) So by puttin your FMF on it will still do what it did stock, a 240 will still do what it did stock, the only way to go faster top end is gear up but youll acellerate slow as mollases!

You people must not know very much. Most of you do but some don't, I put my pipes on and wow! Now the front wheels come up in a shift 1-4 fifth and sixth they don't come up but it is definatly faster in all catigories. We are going to use the neighbors radar gun(he is a cop) to determine how much top speed I have gained.
