Default Is it really safer to ride on the side of the road?

Earlier today I was riding around *cough, on the road, *cough.. and practicing wheelies.. well i saw a car coming a little ways down the road.. so like i always do for any car, i got off to the side of the road and putted along at a slow speed until it passed.. i was only cruising along at around 2-3 mph.. then WHAM! i found a cement catch basin hiding in the 2 1/2 foot tall grass.. i knew it was there and it was totally my fault for not thinking about it.. but now to the shameful part.. i need to replace my bumper.. which i guess i will just buy a new DG bumper.. and my lower a-arm has a dent.. it still rides straight.. nothing loose or crooked... just a decent sized dent in the lower a-arm which i am going to replace because if i hit a hard bump (hopefully not another catch basin) it could bend further and cause a more extreme accident.. and we can't have another one to put into the statistics can we? so is there anyone out there that has purchased a set of extended a-arms that has a stock one for sale at a low price? preferably the gray factory paint color..

I have one, but I forget which side it is. What side are you looking for.
