Default Grizzly temperature light

I have a 2004 Grizzly with 300 miles on it. My temperature light stays on all the time. I know it isn't hot. The light comes on right when you turn the key. The fan still kicks on and off after it has been riden a while. Can anyone help on this?

put black tape over the light
if thats not an option unplug the light if you know your not over heating
if you have alot of money bring it to a dealer

It should still be under warenty, make them fix it. Could be something like your oil filter is clogged. Don't wait till it craps out completely, Yamaha will say it's your fault and then you're really screwed.

It sounds like the white wire with a blue stripe fell off thermo sensor # one. I believe the sensor is located under the gastank. You may be able to see the wire if you kneel down and look near the center of the bottom of the tank.

It's the wire off the sensor. My Buddies 02 did the same thing. The wire actually came out of the crimped
end.
