banshee raptor shoot out.

Thanks for the correction, I typed this in a rush. Now that you're all done with corrections, I suggest you get back to you school work and quit playing around in the Forum. If you maintain good grades, and keep the grass cut, just maybe you can get a raptor too or either we'll remove the blade from the lawn mower, and put some bandits on it for you.

Hey, I also got money for snow removal in the winter. You know how much snow we get down here in Tucson. Anyhow, let me get this straight, you will enjoy your quad more than I do because you think you work harder than I do. I think you are riding for the wrong reason. How tough it must be for you to work in a nice air conditioned hospital. What a grueling experience, you poor fellow. My heart truly goes out to you. 45 hours a week! My goodness, you must be worn to a frazzle. Why, I bet you only get a couple of days off per week. The last time I went to the hospital all the janitors there said they worked really hard too.
To be truly honest with you, 45 hours a week is not very much work at all. Especially if you work indoors. I tell you what, There are lots of people who work 60 to 70 hours a week in jobs that are really tough. Construction workers, police, firemen, teachers, etc. No, I do not hold any of those professions. I do something truly exciting and occasionally very dangerous. Can anybody guess?
Since we have gotten away from the original topic, this is getting kind of boring(like your hospital job, unless you are a doctor). I just got back from riding one of my quads, and put it away in my garage. Now I will take my Banshee out for a spin. Later this evening my wife and I will go for a nice evening ride. Not too bad for a 16 year old on just allowance, paper route, and mowing lawns. Oh yea, and snow removal in the winter.

No, I got married when I was 23, been married for 7 years. I also went to school(college) but after 2 1/2 years I decided that it wasn't for me and answered the call. I can appreciate anybodies hard work weather they work behind a desk, or sweat under the sun. It is all part of these great United States which I truly love.
I am going to drop the clip on my needle (new machine came from New Mexico and I am in AZ so today I am rejetting.) and that should be the final carb adjustment. Should be an enjoyable evening in the Arizona desert. I urge everybody to go out and ride the machine they have right know.

Hey Bash,
I figure this.... All the folks bashing the Raptor, are probably those who were expecting the worst, and now they see how good it will be, from all the reviews, and now they cant get one for 6 months, cause they waited...haha. So, they make everyone that has em on order pissed, cause they wont be riding one for a while. Selfish spoiled brats..lol. That was a joke you guys....easy now.
All the bad comments go right in one ear, and out the other, because Ive seen enough already to know Ill be happy. Just imagine having the power of the Banshees powerband, at "all" times when you hit the throttle.Thats what Im talkin about.
(rumor has it, that the delay in shipping, is due to a factory sprocket change
) Screw the reviews your heard - things wont be the same.
Ride on.

weibz,
I'm with ya bro...haha
Hey, were you just fanning the flames, or are you serious about the rumor of a sprocket change? I made a comment about hoping that is what the delay was for, but I was only hoping. Is there any evidence or other heresay from it other than what I started?

Hey bash have you seen the web site Kiwi-Craig posted? Its got some more pics of the Raptor! http://www.geocities.com/kiwi_craig/raptorlink.htm
Hey im with you guys I really do hope that this delay in production is for the sprockets! That would rock! If that IS the case this thing should now rock ALL the way through the power band. With that much power it should rip almighty bung hole comin out of the hole!

Those are some cool pics. I don't think I would let colors keep me from taking delivery one if the white isn't available. Looks like they have a slick paint job and nice welds too. Let's hope all the production ones are as tidy.
I just got back from giving my dealer some more down on it. Only $1400 to go! I asked about the delivery dates. He now says that the latest schedule for him is: 1 in Sept, 2 in October, 1 in November, then after that, regular deliveries as available. He is supposed to have 2 of each color and I'm the second white/black raptor. Sure would be nice if the first 2 delivered were white!
kind of doubt that though.

Man Im already tired of waiting for this machine! To think I have till November. Hey i've got 1200 down and putting another 2800 down once I get my next pay check here......Hopefully the dealer gets the idea that im serious about getting this quad. =-) Im excited for my blue one! Unfortunately im gonna be sitting around reading you guys talking about yours for a while before I get mine though!

bash,
Honestly, as far as I know, it is only heresay, but they are definitely making amends to something, and Im pretty sure that the jetting baffles were already taken care of. Im only hoping also. If not, Ill slap on the new sprocket myself, and have it that way anyways.
Right now, Im callin my dealer again, and making sure a B&W one is comin in the first few. They were getting 14 , so a few should come in the first shipment..I only hope one is black and white. Then Im heading to Kiwi-craigs new pics....cya and have fun.
