Dirt Wheels is lame. I've only bought one issue and let me tell you it was a waste of $4 for sure. I think
the US government should buy an island somewhere only for the world's biggest morons. Every employee of
Dirt Wheels would get a free ticket...

 

i bleieve they test the machiene but are bioist to what ever company gives them more money towards the shootout.

 

if i owned a shee i wouldnt wanna get up every time to start it and having the pain of mixing gas every time u go n ride, id radther have it injected....hey it may add SOME weight but why the h3ll not?

 

I remember one sport quad test where the DS won like 4 out of 7 catorgories & still got 4th! I guess it was too manly....

Why even compare Banshee? Who runs a stock Banshee in the sand????

 

i have a banshee and a ds650, the banshee is modded alot, and the 650 has a pipe, i would rather have the comfort through the dunes and the 650 is a torque monster, but the clutch slips alot if it is stock.

 

Someone who just bought it and hasnt anymore money.LOL! J/K

 

Put pipes on the banshee and the hole story would be differnt.

Have you tried RWR 40% or 60% clutch springs yet?


I don't know, I've beat piped Banshees in the sand. Once you really mod them though they go. It's like that 2 stroke snap makes the tires spin so quickly that they skim the sand.

 

What was the purpose of the shootout? Was it to find the ultimate dune quad? Was it to find a quad that you can ride in the dunes in a comfortable fashion? Most new riders want electric start, easy to ride, oil injected (hehe) and good power. I think Dirt Wheels knows this so they take the old tried and tested banshee VS the only quad marketed as a dune quad, the DS650. Find out which one will fit the new age rider best.

 

Some of you guys just kill me, If dirt wheels would of gave the banshee the win, all the banshee guys would be bragging right now, just like the the previous issue of dirt wheels where they had the banshee,raptor,yfz450. I beleive they said the banshee was the best duner,and all these banshee guys on here were saying its sad when a old fossil like the banshee beats a new machine,blah,blah,blah.

You know who you guys are. So dont favor dirt wheels when it makes your machine look good, and crap on them when things dont go your way. All are machines have been crowned the kings at one time or the other from them.
