seen a lot of built up quads and wondered how fast have you ridden yours in mph?

yesterday, I got my raptor 660 up to 68 mph (gps) on a dirt road with only an intake mod...had more room to go cause i was little over half throttle (dont know 4 sure) in 5th until i got scared going around a bend in road(only 2nd time riding atv)

anyway... how fast is your quad in mph and to those with suped up drag quads...do all those engine mods increase top speed or just acceleration times?

looking into mods for my quad and would like to see some fast riders post their speeds.

110-115mph with a salvage yard engine- piston and cam dropped in and a decent carb.

 

74mph (mx gearing)

i take it its the 5cyl turbo? my iroc hit 148 with 2000 rpms left

 

pimp250R, what do you run for gearing for MX?

 

Ya man, IF you get that with MX gearing, than what would ya get if ya had different,
i would think you would want a lower gearing for MX Iam I wrong??

 

my little 4cyl turbo subaru burried the 140mph speedo and was pulling away from the trans-am i was racing..my quad might hit 68

 

Here's my list of top speeds so far:

My 1996 MYSTIC Cobra(not stock) = approx 160 MPH(speedo stopped at 150 and I chicked out)

My 2000 YFZ-R6 = 140 MPH (also chicked out after realizing I'd die instantly)

And my 2001 Kenz built 727 Raptor = 102 MPH (GPS verified using stock gearing with 22" Shredders)

 

my budd got a shee suposivedly beat a viper at 130 in the ¼ mile.... i dunno if hes lyin or what but i know that hes got 25000.. yes 25000 put in the quad.. i thing hes telling the truth cause he was explaining every detail that you would think going that speed!!!!!.. he was saying like the front wheeld started comming up so he leaned a little foreward and shifted into 6th and the viper right behind him clocked 130 on his speedometor!!!!
