Nope. I subscribe to both Dirt Wheels & 4 wheel ATV action. Dirtwheels is pretty good about getting there magazines out the same time every month. 4 Wheel ATV action is not nearly on time!

Oh, I haven't received my magazine up here yet either.

Is anyone up to scanning the article on Banshee vs. Raptor and emailing it to me? No, I'm not too cheap to buy the magazine, it's just that it will probably be another 10 days or so before they put it out on the magazine racks, and I'm a little impatient.

Thanks in advance if you can help!

It wasn't the greatest shootout by any means. What do you want to know about the article?

1) Inside the motors
2) Inside the chassis
3) Ride Time - pavement drags
4) Ride Time - Trail Test
5) Jumping
6) Ratings Chart between banshee & Raptor

Scooby,

I'm interested most in the following:
pavement drags & Trail Test

If the chart you refer to is just one of those point or star charts, skip that.

If you're inclined to give out or email the info on this, it's much appreciated and I'll be glad to return the favor if I can someday.

PS... Have you decided to stay with the ds? I read one day where you said you might consider the Raptor. A buddy just got back from Oklahoma and said in the sand, the DS rules supreme. At least that is the way he felt after seeing the DS roast a few piped and modded Banshees. He said 3rd gear was the killer.

Just got it Friday. I really enjoyed the Banshee vs. Raptor writeup, especially the side-by-side photos. They objectively identified the strengths and weaknesses of each. Depending on your personal preferences and types of terrain, the Banshee may be your best bet. But the resounding claim that I have read in numerous other articles is that if you want one machine that will do it all, the Raptor is the one.

Can't wait! It should be here sometime in August!

I agree. If you want one machine thats VERY good all around then its the Raptor.

The black & white Raptor really looks cool.
