Default banshee jetting ?

A friend just bought a 2001 banshee with toomey t5 pipes,v-force reeds,k&n air filter with the air box lid on.It always fouls the plugs.Compression is good.Just wondering want it should have in it for jetting.Haven't had the carbs apart to see what they have in there for jetting.

Thanks

With the lid on it should be about a 270 main and a 27.5 pilot.Take the whole box off and go for open K&N's and go to a 290 main and 30 pilot.

It's answers like this is why people say banshees break and are slow with pipes. Every shee is different and you cant run the same jets at 30 degrees as you would at 60 degress. Also altitude make a difference also. I run fattys at 340's with a cut lid. If I ran 290's like you say my engine would grenade. Nobody can tell you the correct jetting for you bike with out testing it. To do this you need to do a plug chop. Heres a better explenation. http://www.dfn.com/benkaren/jetfaq.html READ AND LEARN.
