Hmm foxrunner, u must have raced an earlier year 500, like a 97 before they got a boost in power. I'v raced warriors before and there no match. Now that i'v added an fmf pipe, and clutch kit and jet kit i smoke them.

U have obviously never ridden a modded scrambler. Even my scrambler doesn't lose that bad to banshees. Oh and by the way, if you want proof, check out the new issue of ATV sport. The scrambler 500 2x4 ran went 0-30 in 2.6 seconds. Thats faster than a a 300ex, a warrior, a 400ex, a banshee, ands even the raptor.

.....I MADE A MISTAKE.....
I Was confusing the question with a sportsman.

...I own my own house with access to alot of land nearby....If your parents will let you....take some time and come on out..I would love to ride with most of you...My professional friends and myself would love to show you how to/we ride in central NY. You will probably find that I am not all that bad of a person or rider. Or better yet...let me know and I will waste my hard earned vacation time on you...It would be worth it for me.

Never tell me I'm talking out my A$$(I've probably been riding for longer than you are old)..... If a person makes a mistake...find a nice way to try to tell them that..... I'm sure someone like myself would be more than happy to talk about it.

BTW.....OK so the scrambler does not weigh 700 it weighs 542 dry....Hmmmmm So I was off by 150 or so......

There is no way a Scrambler 500 4x4 could keep up with my Warrior!!!! I own a 2000 Warrior with: White brothers E-series exhaust, torque stuffer, k&n filter with outerwears, Powroll clear vented airbox lid, dynojet kit, renthal banshee bend handle bars, pro design kill switch, ac front bumper with mudscreen, ac nerf bars, dg full lenght skid plate, dg a-arm skid plates, dg swingarm skidplate, shock covers, cut front fenders, banshee headlight covers, bandit fronts, swamper rears.

In the mud, there is no question that a scrambler 4x4 would do circles around me, but not in a drag race!!!! I doubt it could even beat a stock Warrior!!!!!!!!!

A Scrambler would be all over your Warrior, with all those mods, I don't see how your quad could move.

I don't own either, but i have friends with 2000 scram. and 2000 Warrior, and the Scrambler kills it. Thos things are alot faster than ppl think they are.

Ok QUADFATHER you got me!!!

Too bad the scrambler 500 4x4 weighs 542 lbs dry and a Warrior weighs 397 dry!! Even with all the aftermarket accessories I have, it must weigh about 135 lbs less!!!!!!

They are both great bikes. When my Sport was stock, I raced a stock Warrior several times. He never got close to even catching up to me, I just got further and further away.

Quadfather,
That was funny! I wasn't aware handlebars & skidplates made a quad faster
Anyway I think the one kid said he did confuse the two & meant the Sportsman. Why anyone would race a Sportsman against a Warrior is beyond me but anyway I guess I can believe a Warrior would win in that case. Maybe you & I should go out and race a couple of Grizzleys or Kodiaks

I don't think the scrambler is so good at mudding, since i passed one going through a mudhole with standing water on top of it. We'd been going through the same spot all day and the kid riding a scrambler in front of me got stuck, so i turned off the ruts and drove around him, then went back into the ruts and waited for him on the other side on my Trail Boss, next to my friends 230 quadsport, which had bald tires, and wait five minutes for him to spin out in four wheel drive. We also had to pull him out of a pond he was helplessly stuck with the very same 230, only the 230 backed up to him, stopped, hitched on, and pulled the scrambler out over the bank. My friend with his 230 used to have a 96 warrior, and I've seen it in action personally, and it kicks the a*s of the 230 and the trail boss. DON'T GO POLARIS!
