I have to say in a stright line i don't know. two years agoat the fla gncc and I started behind the utility class. I was leading the c class when i caugh up to a 500 and it was modified.on the sright aways he got me out of the trun by about a bike leanght but after about 50 yard i went right bye him, but in the tight woods there is no waythat he could touch my bike. other time I've runn with them even in realy bad conditions the tight woods hurt the polaris, where the little warrior snakes though with no problem.

Swain,
I'm trying to get to WNF by Sept. of this year. If I can make I'll e-mail you and let you know. Thought neither of our bikes are stock we can still race if you want.

A Scrambler 500 would walk all over a Warrior. When I had my 400 Sport I would eat Warriors, 300exs, Wolverines, 400 & 500 Scrambler 4x4's right up. It was a close race against the 400ex and the Banshees. They both beat me, but they weren't that far ahead. As a matter of fact, I could keep even with a Banshee until it hit fifth gear. Thats when it started to pull away on me. The race with the 400ex was much closer. I would jump it off the line every time, but in the higher gears he would get me. To answer your question, a 500 Sram. would put manners on any Warrior. No matter if it is drag racing, trail riding, or hill climbing.

I always thought a Scrambler 500 went 65, and a Warrior Went 56?

A torque stuffer is a piece of alluminum that goes from the head into the header pipe. It smooths out the torque and increases low to midrange. It's almost like a funnel. $32 and 30 minutes you've got it installed.

First I must say Im a serious Yami fan. Thats all I will own
I also have a highly modded Wolverine as some of you know...
I can stomp all over a Warrior with a pipe and filter. I have trophies to prove it.
But 2 women in my atv club just got 2001 Scrambler 500`s. Boys we are in trouble.
Smoked me at Sand Mtn. Nevada
Beating me by 1 or 2 bike links every time.
I must say hats off to Polaris.
Thats why Im getting a Raptor now.

I have a friend with a scrambler 400 4x4, and he couldnt believe how quick my 400ex got out of the hole. I have driven scrambler 400 and 500 4x4's, and a 400 2x4. They are lazy getting out of the hole (in stock form) I just dont see a belt tranny beating a good rider with a cluch out of the hole. No, the 500 scrambler isnt faster then a 400ex or raptor. Maybe if they tested all the others on sand and the scrambler on pavement.
