I was going to paint the frame on my 97 wolverine just wondering what kind of paint to use and how to apply it. Should u remove everything before its painted?

 

u should remove everything wires and all and you have to sand it down so no old paint is on it and im not sure what kind of paint to use cuz no one uses paint you should get it powder coated

 

not everybody uses powder coating on their frame. I would suggest using an automotive paint. and do a three layer job. base coat,normal paint and then a clear coat. you can do a 4 layer one if you want it a candie color. it holds up all right but overall the powder coat is better. hope it helps
