Default banshee suspension??!!??!!??

I have a 2003 shee. I love the way it runs, but the suspension sucks. I have works dual rate on the front and a stock rear. The works are alright, but still not what I am looking for. I want the suspension to handle high speed whoops and absorb the landings from dune jumping. We ride only dunes and I am about 240lbs. Will a arms help. different shocks. different something. different bike. Please help i am about ready to trade for a ds650

You could always try elka...the are great. triple rate shocks. the ds is fast but I wouldn't want to do a lot of jumping or going through whoops with it. If you are into jumping and whoops and can't get your banshee set up right I would go with a predator or a yfz 450.

i disagree, the ds650 jumps and handle the whoops better than any stock quad i have ridden, it has 12 inches of suspension travel all the way around.

I have a 2000 banshee with a pretty hot motor but bone stock suspension. I used to live in MO and me and some freinds made the trip to little sahra a couple of times and I still go twice a year now that i live in MS. I agree that the stock suspension gets pretty rough through the woops. Anytime I go through them I go as fast as I can because it seems like the faster I go I just kinda skim the tops and it is not nearly as rough. But, to get back to the question at hand, I believe that you could modify the front suspension to handle great. If you give a good set of triple rate Elka's about 5 minutes of riding to warm up they are hard to beat. If I were going to invest some cash in my front end I would buy a complete kit. I know alba offers one for the banshee specifically for the dunes. It comes with aftermarket A-arms, shocks, tie rods, and even the longer steel braided brake lines you will need to complete the kit.
