I new there had to be more to the mod list then that I was seeing.

However, your not going to get higher speed with a 48 in the rear. Stock is 13-40. The 14 front will give you a nice increase in top speed, however a extra 8 teeth in the rear is really slowing you down.

the drag was on a straight road that was 5 electricity poles long (not good at distances, sorry)

Right.
People need to understand that adding bolt ons like pipes and stuff usually dosn't effect overall top speed. However it does give you the power to pull a taller gear. So with these basic mods you can change you gearing to have more top speed but still have the power on the bottom end.

bolt on performance gains can add power but you have to know how to handle it and how it actually helps you too
