Theres a plug underneath the motor. Pull it, Drain it. On the on the side of the quad with the shifter there is a small cover with 3 or 4 bolts in it. Unscrew them change filters and put the plug back in it and fill it up and crank it and let it run for a min, check oil again if it looks like enough than ride it. I think my Warrior held a lil over 2 quarts if im not mistaken. I had a 01' should be the same.

Try Gumout on the motor. Spray it then if you have a compressor than blow it off. If not wash it off. You got alot to learn about owning onw...lol. But the only way you will know is to do it yourself....

The fine screen mesh filter is reuseable, you can spray it from the inside with brake cleaner, or swish it around in a cup of gas, then blow it dry with an air gun. Watch the drain plug, it is easy to slip off and round the corners if it is tight, and make sure you put the spring and screen that come out with the plug back in the correct way. If the oil looks like that, to be safe, buy some cheap 10-40 oil ( make sure it DOES NOT say 'energy conserving', that will make your clutch slip), and warm your motor up good, then drain it again, checking the color, if it still looks off colored, keep changing the oil until the gray or dark colors go away, oil is a lot cheaper than motor parts, sounds like someone left that oil in there a long time. When you are satisfied the motor is clean, get 3 quarts of good 4 stroke rated wet clutch oil ( Warrior should hold about 2 - 2.5, add until it shows on the mark of the dip stick) and you should be good to go.
