Default Which Quad for me!!!!!!

I am 15 years old i weigh 250 pounds Iam 5'8" and i was wondering which quad i should get between a raptor660 or yfz450?
I dont race and i will be spending my time at the sand and the trails. How do they do in both sand and trails?

Thanx

Both are awfully radical bikes and both excellent choices ....you need to ride them both and you decide...Remeber the Raptor has reverse. My 13 year old doesn't like either of them as he prefers the Z-400...He can out handle me on any trail.....But I'm an old fart now and my body doesn't move like it used to...lol.

The YFZ may feel a little cramped to you...You should probably go to a dealer and sit on both quads? lol i know that sounds goofy, but it helps...I hear the 450R is a little more user friendly for taller/bigger people...And if not that, the the raptor sounds good...you may need to do quite a bit of modding to get it up to moded YFZ quickness though..

The raptor is the BIG boys choice.
If you are 250+ lbs. you will be licking your kneecaps on a 450.....

Mike's right, yfz's are small, they have a good power to weight ratio because yamaha metaphorically speaking, took a big-block chev motor and put it in a cavalier frame. (not to say a yfz in any way resembles a cavalier or anything but you know what i mean). Anyway, a rap is a good bike and it does everything well, nothing perfectly. Tons of people have them and they're a great all around bike, and as for dunes, they're amazing. My dad has one and he keeps up pretty well with me and the 'shee. Its a powerhouse of a motor, gobs of torque to pull you up any hill you can imagine (within reason) so i think you'll be really happy with it.
