Buddy has an 88 i think warrior, it has the headlights on the front bumper. Will my starter off my 98 fit on his?

 

It should....not much has changed on those from 88 to 98.

 

the 1998 starter should work.

just for nostalgia sake, in 1990, they moved the lights, moved the engine back a few inches, took off the backup recoil starter, changed something with the carb so that the gas would not boil in side the float (used to cause it to cut out) other than that and some color scheme changes, handle bars/levers changes- it has been relatively the same since then.
