Default Raptor 350 Vs Warrior

Hey man if you could get an almost new Z400 for $3000 than I would go with that, its faster than the 350 on the warrior or the raptor.
Last time I went riding with my friend that has a Z400, he almost kept up with me all the way and that was at the dunes.

I always liked the Warrior.

It's one of the best ATV's ever made. Not the fastest, dosent handle the best, ect. But when it comes down to it, its one of the most dependeble atv's ever sold. And i agree Warrior was a name i always liked. Yamaha is out to make money???Name of the game.....So they changed plastics and hardly nothing else and jacked the price up on it. Honda is great, however i would put the Warrior ahead of %90 of atv's made because its reputation for being an all around great atv. Great for a first bike and great for and age person. Good size to. Plenty of pip for the average rider.........

Yellowfrog ,

Its cheap i know. But between Yamaha, Honda, Kawi, and Suzuki.....Than suzuki would be my pick behind Honda and Yamaha. I think Honda and Yamaha make some of the best atvs out there.

I agree my first quad was a 660 raptor, I just love the Yamaha's. I also rode a 300ex for many years (wasn't mine though).
That thing was so dependable. The person who owned it never checked the oil for the 4 years that I rode it and it just kept on going.

But I was amazed at the power that that little Z400 had compared to my 660r, it could go up any hill that I went up. I admit it had some trouble on some hills but its a really good beginer and pro rider quad. Although I still wouldn't buy one.

I love the original look of a warrior especially with a nice bumper and wheels but I hate the electrical problems it seems like there is always something little with the electrical and to make it worse it doesn't have a backup starter but the new 350 to is just a different style warrior and costs more so if you like the look of it go for it but a warrior is a all around reliable machine even though mine is for sale now but I am wanting to get that special edition all black shee myself but my friends have been saying yfz because I am mainly Mx but I say go with the warrior man they take a beating I even Mx with mine

Hey wheelsup, the z400 is a great bike but they didn't start making them until late 2002 which was the 2003 ltz400 so seeing used 01's and 02's is b.s.

Yzf600rider, I have an older Fzr600 and like you I have to take off the plastics and tank to get to my airbox, but still a fun ride.

I had a 2001 warrior and I thought that it was a great bike, geared like a tractor I never had a problem climbing any hills with it and it was a very reliable machine. The new Raptor 350 does look nice but it seems to just be like Ds650 said an updated version, so my advice is if you really like the new look and can get a good price get the Rap350 other wise I would look into a used warrior or possibly a 400ex. Just my .02
later sparx
