Did you adjust the air/fuel screws? Did you put the needles in a different clip position than stock? The blueing is normal for that type of pipe.

my friend got a yoshi slip on, and if u nailed the gas it would kinda hesitate just for a tiny bit of a sec tho, then it was fine, and only if u really punched it, it was a slight hesitation. i heard something to do with valves was a possible problem.

I can't believe you haven't recieved any more help than this so far. You've certainly been patient enough.

You're jetting sounds good, I'm assuming you're below 3000' elevation. You should need to be 2 1/2 - 3 turns out on the air/fuel screws each side which is what you say your at. You say your needle is on the 3rd/middle groove which is good. I'd say try putting the needles one groove different at a time, either higher or lower until you've tried all positions. Keeping the needles on the same groove as the other each try. Also double check the diaphrams in the top of the carbs for tears and the carb boots themselves for tears etc. Do you run with the lid or no lid on the air box? Can you take it off and try without it? Hope you get it figured out.
