Default Change to my Warrior?

I'm happy with the "lumbering" this thing does. Almost from a dead stop I can drive it up the ramps into my truck and NOT worry about the front end coming up on me, like the Mojave 250 I used to ride. Same goes for hills on trails. I haven't taken it out to the sand yet (where I'll usually be riding) With the Mojae 250 I could do dounuts, hang off the side and keep the RPMS up and throw it where ever I wanted. It was sugested to go to lower gear up front, to make up for the torque. Or should I try some other mods? Or just get to the fact I got a MUCH bigger bike? I like the fact that its longer and SEEMS wider and I don't feel like I'm gonna loop it if I rev it up and pop the clutch. Will going with a lower gear in front bring the front end up? Because I really don't want that to happen. I just want to break the rear loose when I need to. Thanks in advance for any advice.
