You can go to Craycraft website or there are guys out here that can help like sixsixt and Yamaha660r..The Craycraft 686 is a nice way to go or even the Trinity 727 kit...I myself am looking into the CT racing 680 kit but have yet to hear any pros or cons about it. Yah the Raptor is cool and it feeds on aftermarket parts..(and Hondas)..at least mine does

Craycraft Racing at www.14mins.com

Bob will make your Raptor as fast as you can afford, you won't regret a penny of it. Great folks, they've built 2 Raptor motors for me (so far:-). The Signature 686 motor is a nice build that won't break your piggy bank. Oversized valves, porting, and a better cam would make a nice top end tune up without worrying about boring the cylinder. Be careful, Raptor motor building is an expensive addiction and it's very contagious!

I definetly have to agree with UBETRUN. It is addictive.

817-441-5893 is the phone number, call Bob and he will fit a engine kit into your budget...you can go as expensive as you want though. Just surf the Craycraft Forum's on www.14mins.com and look at some of the 730's with tricked out chrome and paint.

Right now I have a Sig. 686 with FCR's and the chromoly rod and everything. Oversized valves, and all....basically the works! But I went with a low compression 11:1 102mm Ross piston so I could run pump gas. I have run that for a couple months and I'm already having a piston sent to me from Bob....13.5:1(14:1) 102mm Ross piston. Looking for more power.

Shoot me a PM about my engine build, or call Bob and have a talk with him. He can hook you up, and you won't regret it.

I second this thread also!!! Good guy to deal with and has time to talk to you, unlike most builders.....

Bob is the man! Customer service is number 1! As others have said he can make it as fast as you can afford! Or in other words he can give you the most bang for your buck!

Same with me. Bob is a GREAT guy to deal with. I have never heard a complaint about him or his work. I have 1500 dollars in exhaust systems. This is addictive and can get VERY expensive. I had him completely replace and upgrade just about everything but the cases and cranckshaft. Very pleased. I guess I need to sell something to save for the FCR carbs I want. Then I wont need my Craycraft modded stockers!lol

Yea....ALL I hear is CrayCraft CrayCraft CrayCraft...It must really be good, i have seen how fast there quads can be, and must say i think i will be makin it go this winter...LOL DONT WANT DOWN TIME DURING THE SUMMER....Im too used to the 686, soon i will be makin myself afford more! Hopin this is the right rout to go...and not with Trinity AGAIN!...I have EVERY External Bolt on Possible, performance wise, i however am still shopping for a good rev booster, so i can be lookin at around 10k.

Is the motor Still reliable with a 727/730...like it is with the 686, i dont want a timebomb lol=)
