Hmmm, Pudl, sounds like and opportunity to off-set the price of shocks....you already have a buyer for your stockers.

If you want aftermarket shocks and don't want to spend over $1,000 look into a set of Ohlins w/piggyback resevoirs . I have Ohlins front and rear on my 250R and the ride is incredible. Granted they are not quite as good as Elka and Axis but they also cost about $600 less. Ohlins are very well built shocks and I can race XC for nearly 2 hours without any noticeable performance fade. If you have unlimited funds buy some Elkas. But if you don't want to have to take out a loan for some shocks and still have a competitve set of shock absorbers buy the Ohlins.

Yeah I won't deny that their suspension action probably isn't on par with the Elkas or Axis. But they get the job done and I can't stress enough that they are extremely high quality and are built to be ridden hard.
