#1
I am looking at purchasing a new bike, the only problem I have is that Ido not what to get either a 300 EX or a WArrior. What are the differences like speed, handling, reliability and whatever. Tell what the problems that both of these quads face. Thanks alot.

Yep, I faced that decision about a year ago myself. I was looking at used Warriors and 300EX's. Finally I decided on the Warrior for a number of reasons!
1) I ride on high speed fire roads and the Warrior has a better high speed, so I wanted that.
2) over all I like the looks of the Warrior better.
3)It has more power than the 300
4)It's bigger than the 300, so I feel more comfortable on it.
5)I like the reverse procedure on the Warrior over the 300.
These are pretty small things, but they do matter to me.
Now, the 300EX does handle better than the Warrior, or so I've heard. Its also considered a better jumper because of light weight and better suspension..I've also heard that Honda has very good reliability, but I havent yet had a single problem with my Warrior, and I've had it for about a year. I recently put a White Bros. E-Series pipe on it, and let me tell you, that really helps!! So the decision is yours, but I'd go for the Warrior. By the way, I'm loyal to Yamaha, never owned anything else.

I'm not going to talk to much about the Warrior, since i've never rode one enough to give an opinion on it.
300EX good points, Handles Great, Jumps Great, Ride is Good, Wheelies really good, and Corners nicely. Hondas are supposed to be reliable. Best on Earth(now if that isn't cocky advertising slogan!)
Bad points Pokey motor. Coming from a recon you won't notice it that much, but going from a blaster to a 300EX i did. It seems that all the power is in the Lowend. It has a lot of grunt! But Midrange and top end power just suck.
But for 900 you can pull some nice power out of the motor. And that would make up for some of the price difference. 4,500 for the 300EX and 5,000 for the warrior.
I've always heard that it takes a lot of money to pull more power out of the Warrior. I'm not totally sure on this.

Haha!! Ok, now tell me this: if the 250X beats the Warrior, why did Honda dis-continue it? Why did they add more pwer and call it the 300EX? The 300EX wont even touch the Warrior, how could a 250X?
