Pull the 7 bolts out of the stator cover and pull it away from the motor. Chances are water will come pouring out. If that doesn't cure it, let me know.

Go to a local radio shack or electronics store and get some terminal grease. Put it on the spark plug caps.

You can also check to see if how tight the boot fits your spark plug. Squeeze the boot with a pair of pliers to get a tighter connection.

It could never hurt to use the grease on all the plugs on the wiring harness. I would also change out the spark plugs...if they got wet there is a good chance they fouled.

No water, thats amazing. Try unpluging the TORS. Look under the left side of the gas tank and you will see a little black box fastened to the frame. There will be three wires in a group coming from it to a white triangular plug. Unplug it and the entire TORS system is disconnected.

so now you are left with 2 choices- buy a new TORS box or get the TORS eliminator kit from vito's. i would get the kit, it makes life much easier in the long run.

Just run it with the box unplugged. You don't have to have a TORS removal kit right now, but it makes your carbs a lot easier to tune later. You are looking at about $50 for the kit and a local dealer can get them from the aftermarket instead of buying from Vito's.

Change your spark plugs. They are probably fouled.
