Well at a track around here its

D Class-Any quad no matter what size races here...you just can't double anything.

C Class-This is where it starts in the motor sizes...You raptor 350 would probably be in the what 399 or below?
and you can double anything just not triple it.

B Class-Same as C, cept you can clear anything

A Class-Same as B, only all the top riders race here.

Might not be the same where your track is at...but thats how it is around here.

 

what track is it that u race at and did u ever hear of a place called rausch creek and if u did. did u ever race there

 

Here is a link to the TQRA race series my son rides in. This will give you an example of what some of the different classes are and the requirements for age, size of quad, etc. Obviously in your area it will be different but this gives you an idea of how things are setup.

 

AMA is only $39.00 a year, if your paying more you are getting ripped off, it should be the same price no matter where you are, it's the American Motorcycle Association, so it covers the whole country. I just paid my fee so I know it's only 39.00

 

thanks z250 but in this district i guess you cant race until you are 14 cause the legal age for anything 90cc and up is 16 so i guess i will just have to wait and go to open practices

 

yeah same in minnesota. i'm 13 and want to try racing a quad (i race my bike in the 85 class) so i'd be there anyway. i could race, but i'd need to have an under 90cc machine. which i have not. so i'm going to just practice till i can actually race.
