im 14 now so when im 16 i want to start to race. i thik 16 is the legal age in this district(34). What do you need to race such as an AMA card and whatever.

 

You Need an AMA Card and depending on your track, maybe a Members card. You will also need Nerfs, and a Killswitch. You could probably get away with being 16 if you wanted to..

 

 

are you saying i can get away with being younger than 16 or you really have to be older. also how much is it to join the AMA and do u have to wait until you are 16 or can i get it now and just wait to race

 

As long as you look 16 I don't think they would know the difference...hehe..AMA Is 100 bucks for a 1 year membership I think.

nah it aint 500 because my friend told me about it and I will probaly start racing just for fun...see if I like it...it was like either 100 or 120

 

ok thats kool. so the open practice im goin to is in 2 weeks to try it out. i have a pair of old thor boots but they might be too small so im guessing the only boots over 8 inches are rockies or motox boots. my problem is with the boots i cant feel the lever and i dont pull up as hard so im letting off the gas and pulling up, letting off the gas and pulling up and i have a hard time with it. is there any type of boot that is maby soft toed or something so i dont have that problem.

 

Oops hit enter last time. You already can start to race depending on your area. Its a class for 13-15 year olds with up to 200cc 2 strokes and up to 300cc 4 strokes. You should look into it so you can start already.

 

what class would my 350 raptor be in? if i would start to race and what would the age on that class be? thanx
