i do ride Suzuki, but i just wanted to say that the 2005 Yamaha YFZ450 SE looks AWESOME! Also that the yfz is the best quad i have ever ridden, my friend has one and it rocks. Im thinkin i mgiht sell my modified z400 for the new SE yfz.

You just want the new YFZ SE because it looks like the LE Z400, but with better suspension and power.

BTW...will your Z eat my Raptor?

No, thats really not the reason that i like it. I dint even think bout the LE z400 when i first saw the SE yfz.

BTW.... My Z will smoke your craptor, ANYTIME, ANYWHERE!

LOL. Depending on your mod's, it could be interesting...or could be a complete butt whoopin laid out by the Raptor.

Have you thought about holding onto the modified Z until Zuki releases their 450? Some people say it will be out this winter, and others say next spring/summer. But with all the hype it might surpass the YFZ or the 450R. Either way it's just something to think about.

Don't get me wrong though, the YFZ's are nice, but if you start trading in, and stuff like that the dealer's will rape you. So you have to watch how much wheelin' and dealin' you do.

Yes, it would be very interesting. Oh yeah, ive thought bout waitin for the new 450 suzuki. I was thinkin wait to see what dirtwheels and some other sport quad mags had to say bout it, when it comes out, and see if it out performs the hype. And belive me i already know bout the wheelin and dealin stuff.

I wouldn't hold my breath for the Suzuki. IMO, Yamaha has the leg-up on everyone in the high-performance 4-stroke segment. They've been at it the longest and are the leaders. Suzuki will have a lot of miles to catch up to be competitive.
