do u need new suspension when u get wider a-arms?

if i get wider a-arms for my rap, can i keep the stock suspension with them until i get $ for aftermarket suspension? also, does +2 a-arms mean +2 inches on boths sides combined, or +2 on each side?

You will want to stiffen the front shocks as the wider front end creates more leverage on the shocks. I am still running stock fronts on mine with extended a arms but it leaves a lot to be desired.

Yep, to keep the same relationship of width front and back.
Some aftermarket a arms have the shock mounts out further than the stock location. This requires you to purchase aftermarket shocks at the same time, but creates a better situation as the shock travel/wheel travel ratio is kept favorable.
