Yeah, Dealer has been waiting 3 weeks for oil filters for me, now he says that they are backordered for the yfz. What kinda crap is that Yamaha? Kind of disgusting that they can't even keep something as small as an oil filter in stock! I ended up getting a couple from a dealer 4 hours away and had them shipped!

 

If I am not mistaken, the yfz takes the same oil filter as the yz450f dirtbike. I believe thats what I just got. They should be the same. Kind a hard to believe that they would have them on backorder when the wr, yz and yfz use the same one.

Bart, sorry to hear about the back. My suspension beat me up too, it's gone! Hope to have a full set of Elka's for the next Iowa race! Why Elka you ask?...I hopefully will be getting a sweet deal on them. Give Andy till the end of the week on the site, they post up each individual lap time as well..takes some time, but at least you can figure out what place you were in on each lap!

 

you guys run the stock oil filter??? i wouldnt pay 10$ for one... just order some after market ones... i pay 3 dollars a peice...

 

I know the Raptor oil filter can be replaced by a Bosch #3300.....
