I just put a new piston in my 98 blaster and when im riding it it bogs out when i rev it up high. If so am I running to rich or too lean, or if not the case what is the problem? Thank you!

 

Id say you prolly need jetting. Its hard to say if you are lein or rich right now. an easy trick to give you an idea is to pull the choke 1/2 way out when you are having the problem. If it gets better you are too lein and if it gets worse you are too rich. Id say you are prolly too lein but try this trick and see if you can tell. hope this helps!!

 

also if that doesn't help, pull off ur airbox lid and if it gets better ur too rich, if it gets worse ur too lean. same idea

 

by the air box the u mean the filter and all under the seat or the whole thing off from the carb? Would it get mest up if i keep riding it or would i have to jet it before riding it.

 

Is your air filter clean ?
