Changine Raptor Exhaust w/o jetting.?!?
Would there be any issues/problems with changing from stock exhaust to aftermarket w/o changing the jets? Taking out of consideration MAX HP etc? Don't really care about getting the max. Would it do any kind of damage to the bike if a person were to switch exhaust w/o rejetting?
thanks

You will lose some back pressure lowering your bottom end power by upgrading to bigger pipe. It will be worth your while to jet at the same time and ditch your airbox lid and go with a k&n or comparable air induction system. As far as damage goes I dont think it will hurt anything but you'll lose some of that classic rappy bottom end.

Honestly, I can't tell you if adjusting the air mixture screws would be all you need to do. The right carb settings/jetting depends on lots of different things, like your elevation, if you have the air box lid off, if you are using aftermarket air filter.....etc.
Edit: You may want to do a search on this forum for info on raptor jetting. There's a lot of topics on it and lots of useful info.

Ya I just added a WhiteBro's slip on on my sled and I did notice a difference
without jetting and air lid, but just a little bottom gain.
I am going to get a new full Sparks pipe and then I will jet and do the airbox
Anyone want to buy my WB slip on it's in my pictures....
