Default GYT-R -vs- Competition

I've got the full kit on my yfz... (of course, yamaha built the yfz w/ all of the gyt-r gear, and then put on their factory stuff to make it sales floor legal.)

I've got the carbon can, and Stainless steel header.... I have a ton of performance boost. I ride w/ z400's c-dales, rappy's, and a few dirtbikes, and nothing my buddies have, come close to equaling it's acceleration.

I'm very satisfied with it, but will be the first to let you know if something changes...

Ive heard performance wise the gains were pretty decent. But the finished product was bad. Ive heard of all the problems stated above. My friend owns one, and has had a couple of problems with it, but I must say its a sharp looking pipe.

I just got my new Dirt Wheels and there's a big pipe shootout on the YFZ. I think the GYTR is on there.

Go with Yoshi, they use bigger head pipes and they fit perfect, even you can use original exhaust heat shields. Sound great and if you need less noise, just replace end muffler cap. I'm very happy with this set up.

I now have a Jardine RT4 and it is substantially better.. The Jardine (5 lbs 13 oz total system) is lighter than the full GYT-R system, better spark arrestor and also the quiet core is much cheaper and simpler to remove/install.

JARDINE WTF????? Where do u get this from????????? I am seriously curious about this one!!!! I couldnt even find it in a search, and im not really familiar with this one!

So please explain this one to me...and THE GYTR DOES NOT DETERIORATE!!!

anyone that wants photos of the Jardine RT4 full system on a YFZ ,, pm me with your email and I'll send you some.

I've had 2 YFZ's now and have put many ,,, many hours on them along with comparing the different systems to alot of other YFZs at Glamis.

The fastest YFZs up Olds in Glamis were run by the dogriders with Jardine RT 4 exhaust systems.

Star Cycle in CA sells the full Jardine system with quiet core and spark arrestor for $442 shipped.

Also, for those of you that want photos, you will see how well made the header heat shield is and it effectively reduces the heat that other systems have so much difficulty doing.

YOU my friend are out of your ever lovin mind.....ehhhh emmm...The Stock YZ450 Maxed out with, and had 46.6 HP @ 9000 & took 3.04 Sec to make that power...WITH UR Jardine RT-Four, it maxed out with and had 49.8 HP @9000, & took 3.10 sec to make that power...sooo ALL IN ALL Please correct me if i am wrong, The Jardine Made a total of 3.2 Peak HP...

Well Heres the thing....I looked closely at ever other exhaust system there, and according to there K&N Dyno, the FMF Titanium 4, made very impressive, gains as well...only peaking out at 48.8 HP @ again 9000...

Yet the GYT-R MADE 49.3 HP @ 9000, and took 3.10 to make it, your going to tell me that i am going to feel the .5HP LOL and if you would like to get picky, the Pro Circuit TI4 took same amount of time as all did, and made .1HP More then the GYT-R, comming in at 49.4HP

I really must say i got a good laugh at your hostility...

For the same cost, id much rather go with the Yamaha Product LOL, or even FMF...besides they are a fraction of the cost of the So called Legendary Jardine that you swear by...

All of these reading are ACCORDING to this K&N Dyno From Dirt Rider Magazine... But i find it funny how you ppl will believe anything that a magazine prints.

That and the Dirt Wheels ppl out there who go crazy over the 2002 Raptor Pipe Shootout...now its just comparissons here ppl, dont get me wrong but i really think some of you get a lil over amped about this WHICH PIPE IS BETTER Topic...
~Shrugs,
Whatever, suit urself...since u have your Jardine, you can go ahead and just back it none other than 100%, I do admit according to them it made the most power but common bang for the buck, ur not gonna knowtice the .5HP, and i feel its down on quality/fit/finish....
well HAVE FUN!
